1360 Sandburg ("Cummings House") is a 29 story high-rise built in 1963. It features studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. Air conditioning is by wall units. Residents at 1360 Sandburg are allowed two dogs, without a height or weight restriction.
Sandburg Village is a multi-building residential complex with 8 high-rise buildings, 1 mid-rise building and a handful of two-story townhomes and artist lofts. Sandburg Village is located on Clark Street from North Avenue (1600 North) to Division Street (1200 North). Sandburg Village has 2 large outdoor pools at either ends of the complex as well as a set of tennis courts just north of the 70 W Burton building, on top of Potash Brothers grocery store.
Sandburg Village has an excellent location, with multiple bus lines running downtown. The restaurant and entertainment area on Wells Street is only one block away. The Rush Street Entertainment District (State & Rush) is a 5-10 walk away. One of Chicago's most popular beaches, North Avenue Beach, is a 5-10 minute walk away. And the Red Line elevated stop is right on the corner of Clark Street (Sandburg Terrace) and Division.
